Meet the Team
Andrew was formerly a Director of Chase de Vere, where he was based for 23 years. He was also a consultant at Chartwell until its merger with Close Asset Management in 2010. Andy joined Fidelius in 2012 and has an excellent track record in advising clients across the full range of financial planning issues. Andy specialises in working with families, and in particular wealth planning for future generations. He lives in Bath with his wife and is kept busy with his four sons and their families; whilst in his spare time Andy enjoys sports including golf and hill walking.
Bob started his financial services career in the late 1970's working in central London and Bristol for Lloyds Bank. He joined Edward Jones Ltd in 1998 as a stockbroker and financial adviser, and took on the management of their Bath office; building it up from creation, until December 2009. Bob joined Fidelius (then Money Wise) in March 2010, and is accredited by the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). Bob is married with three children and has lived in the Bath area since 1991. He is a keen sportsman, still actively playing tennis, golf, cricket, and football, as well as taking an active part in his local community and church.
Carlton is a Chartered Banker and Professional Financial Adviser with 30 years of experience in Financial Services. Carlton's early career was spent working for insurance companies where he gained experience in product design, marketing and sales. In 2003 he was invited to become an owner of IFS Group, a firm of independent financial advisers which grew successfully and was later sold to a large national firm listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2008. Carlton aims to deliver a service with genuine understanding and offers financial planning solutions that are tailored to clients’ individual needs and requirements delivered in an easy to understand manner. Carlton lives in Surrey with his wife Julie, two sons, Jaden and Codey and Rio the cat, who is the one really in charge…! Most of his spare time is spent on the side lines watching the boys in their many sporting pursuits, and Carlton also enjoys clay pigeon shooting.
Chris has over 16 years of financial advisory experience, most of it spent with Fidelius having joined the business in September 2003 from Chase de Vere. Prior to that, he gained a degree in history at Exeter University. Chris hopes to secure his chartered financial planning qualification this year and enjoys building long standing relationships with clients, as he helps them to achieve their financial goals. Having grown up in Bath, Chris has strong ties to the area and attended King Edward’s School on North Road. Chris lives in the village of Camerton with his wife Katie and their two cats. In his spare time he indulges in his twin loves of history and sport. He has played cricket for local side Bear Flat CC since he was 11 and has served as club secretary since 2012.
Colin’s career started back in 1986 in the Banking sector with NatWest, where he developed an interest in the Financial Services industry, initially as a mortgage adviser in 1993 then became a qualified Independent Financial Adviser in 1996. Colin has gained valuable experience in the life, pension and investment markets during the last 20 years, working with professional connections and developing relationships with their individual and corporate clients. Colin specialises in pensions, investment and estate planning for individuals and corporate clients. He now lives in Hutton in Essex with his wife, two daughters and two cats. In his spare time, Colin is a keen golfer playing off a handicap of 14 and enjoys keeping fit by running at various events to raise funds for local and national charities.
Craig joined Fidelius (then Money Wise) in August 2009 from the Chartwell Group and specialises in advising private clients on investments, retirement and inheritance tax planning, as well as business owners on retirement and protection planning. Previously, Craig worked in the City of London as a derivatives trader and was one of the few traders to be a member of the LIFFE exchange from its opening in 1982 to its closure in 2000. Craig is married with two children and lives near Bath. Away from work, Craig likes to keep fit and is a keen supporter of Bath Rugby.
David has been employed in Financial Services since 1983 and was one of the original first 500 people to be awarded Chartered status when the qualification was launched. David joined Fidelius in 2016 coming from Ashcourt Rowan, where he worked for 13 years. David manages a portfolio of approx. 110 clients built up over many years, with approx. £75m invested. He believes the key to successful relationships with his many clients is trust. David lives in Saffron Walden, Essex with his wife, daughter and their two cats (Magwitch & Little Dorritt)! In his spare time David likes to cycle, draw and spend time with his family, especially if that is outdoors.
Dean is a Chartered and Certified Financial Planner with over 25 years of extensive experience in providing financial planning advice to HNW private clients, companies and trusts. He joined Fidelius in 2017, following a period of time managing financial planning businesses. Dean has a particular specialism in retirement and estate planning and enjoys helping clients achieve their life objectives. Now living in Hertfordshire with his wife and their football mad 10 year old son, Dean spends weekends coaching his son’s team. Outside of work/sport Dean enjoys spending time with his family and friends, he is also a keen Liverpool FC supporter and occasionally plays golf, very badly….!
Guy Joined Fidelius in December 2015. He is a Chartered Financial planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, specialising in pensions and personal tax planning, holding advanced qualifications in pensions, trusts, personal tax and investments. Guy started his career in financial planning in 2012 working with Chase de Vere. Prior to this Guy honed his people skills and business acumen, working as a Business Development Manager for AXA Wealth. Guy is married to Amy, a make-up artist and lives in Hanham, near Bristol. Away from work, Guy chairs the learning and finance committees of the governing board at his local primary school, which his twin boys Ethan and Dexter, aged seven, attend. His daughter, Skye, aged three going on 18, keeps the whole family entertained!
Ian is a Chartered Financial Planner combining over 10 years of industry experience with a high level of technical expertise to provide tailored financial planning advice to both individuals and small businesses throughout the UK. Ian began his career in Financial Services in 2006 at The Haven Partnership Ltd, which became Fidelius in 2011. Ian prides himself on building a thorough understanding of client’s values and goals and only then providing them with impartial, bespoke financial solutions coupled with a comprehensive on-going review service. The Chartered title remains today’s ‘gold standard’ of excellence and integrity, and reinforces Ian’s commitment to raising standards of knowledge, capability and ethical practice, and the importance of professionalism. Ian is based in Cheltenham and provides holistic financial advice to an extensive range of clients. He is also a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist providing advanced pension planning solutions to private clients. Ian has lived in Cheltenham since 2001 and spends most of his time outside the office with his wife and son, Jasper. Ian likes to live an active lifestyle coupling his interest of health & fitness with his passion for golf.
Jon joined Fidelius as a Senior Financial Planner in July 2012. He has worked in Financial Services since 1988 and has previously held similar roles with Close Brothers, Chartwell Group, Cavendish Grant and Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. Jon specialises in helping individuals structure personalised financial plans and particularly enjoys working with clients to help mitigate Inheritance Tax liabilities. Jon lives in North Somerset with his wife, 2 children and Jack Russell. In his spare time Jon likes to travel, play golf, walk the dog and visit good restaurants.
With almost 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, Kiaron spent the last 20 years as a Financial Planner, providing technical expertise in tailored and holistic financial planning to both high net worth individual clients and small and medium sized businesses and their directors. His career started in 1990 at Norwich Union (now known as Aviva). Kiaron worked for KW Wealth for the last six years and Ward Consultancy for ten years prior.
Specialising in tax efficient planning including pensions, ISA’s, EIS and VCT amongst other things, Kiaron particularly enjoys helping clients achieve their goals, and prides himself on his attention to detail and an empathetic nature, important for an adviser to understand their client’s needs.
With family in London, Ireland and France, Kiaron hails from London, and grew up in Reading. Kiaron lives in Reading with his family, and a cat named Alfred (previously known as Matilda!) and transient rodents because of this!
Kiaron regularly attends football matches with his family and is a season ticket holder at Reading FC, which sometimes tests his resolve! He likes walks with the family, theatre and comedy nights. He has an eclectic taste in music, much to the dismay of those around him!
Louise has over 12 years of industry experience and has spent the last 4 years as a Financial Planner providing technical expertise in tailored and holistic financial planning advice to both individual clients and small businesses throughout the UK, previously with Kreston Reeves Accountancy and then Argentis Financial Management.
Louise specialises in retirement and inheritance tax planning and also has extensive experience in corporate benefits and business financial planning. She prides herself on developing long term relationships with her clients, and providing an excellent service tailored around their individual values and goals.
Louise lives in East Kent with her partner and young daughter. In her spare time Louise likes running (currently training for a half marathon), horse riding and spending time with her family.
Martyn joined Fidelius in 2011, having previously worked for The Haven Partnership Ltd. He has over 10 years’ experience in Financial Services, specialising in providing holistic financial planning solutions to a diverse range of HNW clients all over the country. His particular areas of specialisation include Pensions Advice, Investment Advice, Tax Planning, and Protection. Martyn is FCA Authorised and Regulated; QCF Level 4 Qualified (DipPFS) and currently working towards Chartered Status. Martyn is based in our Cheltenham office and lives locally. In his spare time Martyn is an avid sports fan. He also enjoys live music, stand-up comedy and is a regular Platelet Donor.
Nick is a Chartered Financial Planner with over 30 years of experience. He specialises in providing holistic financial advice to high-net-worth private clients, and has a particular focus on retirement and Inheritance Tax Planning. Nick joined Fidelius in 2016, coming from Ashcourt Rowan where he worked for almost 9 years. Nick lives in Cambridgeshire with his wife Andrea and sometimes his two student musician children. In his spare time Nick is a keen reader of fiction and modern history, and an enthusiastic pub quizzer. He tries to keep fit with swimming and the gym, and has the misfortune to be a Queens Park Rangers season ticket holder.
Nick joined Fidelius (then Money Wise) in August 2002 after obtaining a degree in Economics and Business Studies from Plymouth University. He is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, accredited by the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and is an affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Planners (STEP). Nick is married, a father and lives near Bath. He is a keen sportsman and continues to play sport for local Bath teams.
Paul joined Fidelius (then Money Wise) in April 2011 and has particular specialism in retirement planning, asset management and workplace pensions (automatic enrolment). Paul has worked in Financial Services his entire career, originally 21 years with Chase de Vere where he was their Pensions Director, then at Punter Southall Financial Management where he headed their Bristol office; before taking a career break and subsequently joining Money Wise. Paul is married with three children and since moving from London, has lived and worked in Bath for over fifteen years. Paul says his keen love of golf keeps everything in balance.
Sandy has 14 years experience in the Financial Services Industry. He has spent the last 8 years as a Financial Planner, providing technical expertise in tailored and holistic financial planning to both individual clients and small businesses.
Sandy specialises in working with company directors and shareholders to enable their companies to benefit from personal financial planning in the most efficient way, and creating a realistic retirement plan, to help his clients through their retirement journey.
Sandy prides himself on his integrity and enjoys helping his clients to understand the journey they are going through and how best to reach their goals and objectives.
Sandy is based in Hamble near Southampton, where he lives with his wife and daughter, Sandy spends most of his spare time on the water, either relaxing with the family or racing yachts round the Solent.
Steve has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services and has been advising clients for over 15 years. During those years he has worked within a firm of accountants, for a large high street bank and also a major UK insurance company. Steve provides advice mainly to private clients but also works closely with corporate clients and runs financial education workshops to employees on a range of topics. Steve specialises in retirement planning, inheritance tax, business financial planning and particularly enjoys working with clients and their families on building and protecting their financial futures. Steve lives in Paddock Wood with his family and, in the little spare time his family allows him, Steve likes to roam the countryside, lose himself in a good book and get out on his mountain bike.
Colin started his Financial Services career 20 years ago within the wealth management arm of a Global Bank where he gained invaluable experience working with both retail and commercial clients. Colin has provided advice and consultancy services across a broad range of employee benefits during his career to date and therefore brings a wealth of experience to the team. Colin enjoys keeping active and spending time with his family, and currently lives in Essex with his wife Joanna and their three children Alfie, Charlie and Harrison.
Graeme has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services, around half of which has been spent working with employers in relation to the benefits they provide their employees. Graeme has worked with employers around the country, and his particular specialism is in Workplace Pensions. From local, family run firms with a handful of employees, up to large nationwide companies with more than 3,000 employees, Graeme has assisted many employers in putting in place benefits programmes that help them recruit and retain staff. Beyond this, Graeme has also delivered Financial Education in the workplace across a wide range of subjects. Away from work, Graeme is married with two teenage daughters. When he isn’t providing them with taxi services, or supporting them in their own leisure pursuits, he enjoys going to the cinema and going out walking.
Ian is an Employee Benefits Consultant combining over 20 years of experience. The majority of his time has been spent working in some of the industry’s largest employee benefits consultancy firms. Ian possesses a high level of technical expertise in providing Employee Benefits solutions to small family and large multinational businesses, based throughout the UK. He specialises in Group Pensions, and Ian prides himself on his Holistic approach to employee benefit solutions. Ian is based in Chipping Sodbury, where he lives with his wife Katherine. In his spare time Ian enjoys running, cycling, triathlon, and generally being outside. When he gets the chance, Ian also enjoys travelling and reading.
Lee has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Services, working for large insurance companies and banks during his career before moving into Employee Benefits with Fidelius. Lee provides guidance, advice and presentations on a variety of subjects from financial education to pensions freedom for employee’s of large national companies to smaller family run firms. Lee enjoys helping people with pension education and understanding what their retirement could look like with the right planning and guidance. Lee is married with two children and lives in Clutton outside Bath. He enjoys coaching youth football in his spare time, and also enjoys going to the gym and watching live football with his son.
Mark is Head of our Employee Benefits Division. With over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Sector and having obtained a Diploma in Financial Planning, Mark has spent the last 20 years specialising in the Corporate Financial Planning arena, implementing and servicing corporate Employee Benefit arrangements. Providing a first class service to his clients, has enabled Mark to build long standing relationships with the companies he deals with.
Mike is an Employee Benefits Consultant with 25 years’ experience in providing tailored and holistic Employee Benefits advice to companies throughout the UK. Mike has worked for many of the leading industry providers including JLT, Aon and Mercer and joined Fidelius / WKFP in 2018. Although he specialises in providing advice around company pension schemes, he also has experience of providing advice around other employee benefits such Death in Service, Group Income Protection and Private Medical Insurance schemes. Mike prides himself on getting to know each clients’ individual circumstances in order to deliver a bespoke, dedicated and high-quality service. Mike is based in South Wales, where he lives with his wife and two children. In his spare time Mike likes to play football, cycle and play golf. He also works with a number of charities in order to promote organ donation, having recently donated a kidney to one of his son’s.
