Why commercial property?

Commentators are increasingly promoting the virtues of commercial property for pension investment as they see other types of investment consistently under-performing.

According to Investment Property Databank (IPD), the average gross yield on commercial property is far more than most other asset classes.

Is it any wonder investors are looking towards commercial property as an alternative to the disappointing performance of their equity-based pensions over the past few years?
