Fidelius Charity Golf Day Supporting Bath-based
NSPCC Project a Huge Success

The Cumberwell Park Team took the trophy at the event hosted at the Manor House Golf Club, Castle Combe on September 24. The event raised a fantastic £7,000 for the Castle project, an NSPCC centre for local children who have suffered physical, emotional or sexual abuse.

The Castle project team work with Social Services and Education Authorities to take referrals and then help local children through activities, play and one to one therapy sessions.

Bath-based Financial Services company Fidelius, looked locally for a chance to make a difference. They were the official sponsors of the Charity Golf Day, and among their duties was the task of inviting key individuals from the local business community, who in turn gave very generously. Fidelius also provided and sourced an amazing array of luxury prizes for the auction, which raised £2,500 alone!

The NSPCC’s South West Corporate Fundraising Manager, Carrie Cardale said,

“It’s in no small part thanks to the fundraising of local people and local businesses that the Castle Project is able to do the job that it does. We’re really thrilled that Fidelius have continued their support in this way and look forward to using the money raised to make a real difference for children and young people in the area who need our help.”
